GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CAR RENTAL
DRIVER'S LICENSE AND AGE

Bera Car Rental company applies the minimum driver age limit determined according to vehicle segments during delivery. Reservations are made by guaranteeing the vehicle group. There is no guarantee of brand, model or color. Minimum driver age limits are stated below. The minimum age requirement for the customer to rent is 21. The minimum age criteria for each vehicle segment after 21 years of age are as follows:
• For Economy Class Vehicles: Minimum age is 23. A young driver package is available for customers aged 21-23.
• For Comfort Class Vehicles: Minimum age is 23. A young driver package is available for customers aged 21-23.
• For Prestige Class Vehicles: Minimum age is 25. A young driver package is available for customers aged 23-25.
• For Premium Class Vehicles: Minimum age is 27 years. A young driver package is available for customers aged 25-27.
• For Luxury Class Vehicles: Minimum age is 27 years. For luxury vehicles, the young driver package is not applicable and you must be at least 27 years old.
• For Van Vehicles: Minimum age is 25. Young driver package is not valid for minibus vehicles; It is mandatory to be over 25 years of age.
• For Economy Class Vehicles: A minimum 3-year driving license is required.
• For Comfort Class Vehicles: A minimum of 3 years' driving license is required.
• For Prestige Class Vehicles: A minimum 5-year driving license is required.
• For Premium Class Vehicles: A minimum of 5 years' driving license is required.
• For Luxury Class Vehicles: A minimum 5-year driver's license is required.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR CAR RENTAL

During pick-up, the following physical documents must be presented to the Bera Car Rental office/staff on behalf of the main driver;
• Valid passport/or ID card
• Valid driver's license
• Credit card of the customer renting the vehicle. (Turkish citizens living abroad do not need to have a credit card, they can rent a car without a credit card.)

KM LIMIT 

Bera Car Rental has a daily limit of 200 km for economical and middle class vehicles and 150 km per day for premium and luxury vehicles. For rentals of 10 days or more, there is a total limit of 3,000 KM for economy vehicle groups and 2,000 KM for premium and upper group vehicles. If the mileage limit is exceeded, an additional fee will be charged per kilometer, which varies depending on the vehicle group. The mileage excess fee is 4.46 plus VAT for the economical vehicle group, and 6.46 plus VAT for large family vehicles and luxury vehicles.

FUEL

Unless there is a contrary situation, Bera Car Rental company vehicles are delivered with a full tank of fuel. In cases where vehicles arrive late from the previous tenant and are empty of fuel, a fair fuel policy is provided. (Fair fuel policy means that the vehicle is delivered with the amount of fuel you received.) If you return the vehicle with less fuel than the level specified in the vehicle delivery form, you will be charged the fuel difference between the specified level and the actual level at the time of return. In addition to the fuel fee, the company also applies the current service fee. The current service fee is €10.  Fuel type (diesel/gasoline) guarantee is not given for the rented vehicle groups. Vehicle support will be provided subject to availability. Please keep with you the fuel receipt you received for vehicles supplied with a full tank.

VEHICLE TYPE

The vehicle images appearing on our website are sample images. Brand and model warranty cannot be given. An equivalent or higher group of the vehicle you want to reserve will be supplied to you (without charge).

CROSSBORDER TRAVEL

Cross-border travel is not allowed for Bera Car Rental vehicles.

PAYMENT TOOLS

During vehicle delivery, Bera Car Rental offices request one or two credit cards issued in the driver's name to cover the deposit. The number of credit cards varies depending on the type of vehicle you will rent. At the time of vehicle delivery, the driver is required to have a credit card with his own name and valid card number in order to cover the deposit amount and possible additional services that Bera Car Rental offices can offer. In order for the rental transaction to take place, the credit card must meet the evaluation criteria determined by Bera Car Rental. Note: Please note that if you cannot present a valid credit card or your balance is insufficient, Bera Car Rental may refuse to deliver the vehicle.

FINDEX QUERY

While renting a car, you can make a findex query about the renter. Rental service can be provided if the renter has sufficient Findeks compliance. In cases where the Findeks query is not sufficient, the vehicle will not be delivered. Findeks query T.R. Your ID number and TR ID number. This can be done with your mobile phone number registered in your bank. Findex queries cannot be made for people living abroad. There is no need for a findex query for Turkish citizens residing abroad. The vehicle will be delivered if other rental conditions are met.

RESERVATION CHANGE OR EXTENSION

It is not allowed to make changes to prepaid reservations for Bera Car Rental vehicles, but you can cancel the existing reservation and create a new reservation if necessary. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Bera Car Rental provides refunds for prepaid reservations if cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time. In such cases, the entire rental fee will be refunded. The following cancellation policy applies to prepaid reservations with less than 48 hours until the rental start time:
• For 1-3 day reservations, a daily fee will be deducted.
• For reservations of 4-7 days, a two-day fee will be deducted.
• For reservations of 8 days or more, a 25% fee will be deducted.
• Please note that no refund will be given if the customer does not show up for pickup without providing any information.

ISSUES INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

The prices applied include vehicle maintenance expenses, accident insurance, roadside assistance insurance, 24/7 airport delivery and pickup fees and washing fee. Our vehicles are new models, well-maintained by an authorized service and covered by our company's warranty.
In case of any accident or malfunction, it is guaranteed that the problem will be resolved as soon as possible (24 hours - 1 business day). If the problem persists, replacement vehicle service is provided. If the driver does not comply with the rules written in the contract and is at fault for a malfunction in the vehicle, replacement vehicle service will not be provided.  There is enough garbage, dirt, etc. on the exterior and interior of the vehicle that cannot be removed by standard vehicle cleaning process. If found, the cost of detailed cleaning of the vehicle will be reflected to the tenant.

PAYMENT & DEPOSIT

At the time of rental, the total rental fee is collected in cash or from the specified credit cards. The deposit amount varies depending on the rented vehicle group. The deposit transaction is not a sales transaction, it is a blocking transaction. The limit equal to the deposit amount on the tenant's credit card is blocked by the bank. AMEX or DEBIT cards are strictly prohibited for deposit transactions. Please note that the cost of a tank of fuel and possible traffic fines may additionally be blocked on your credit card.
At Bera Car Rental offices, the deposit amount may vary depending on the vehicle class and rental period. Estimated deposit amounts:
• For Economy Class Vehicles: 5000 TL
• For Comfort Class Vehicles: 5000 TL
• For Prestige Class Vehicles: 9500 TL
• For Premium and Luxury Class Vehicles: 15000 TL
• For Van Class Vehicles: 15000 TL
If the rented vehicle is returned early, no refund will be made. For delays of up to 2 hours in returning the vehicle, 1/3 of the rental fee will be charged for each hour. For longer delays, the daily rental fee for each hour and any other possible additional service purchased (protection package, child seat, additional driver) will be charged together. The price calculation method is based on the euro exchange rate. For early bookings, payment method is accepted in euro currency. Our customers who will make payments in a currency other than Euro will make payment in other currencies according to the Euro exchange rate on the day they received the vehicle. Our customers living abroad can rent a car without a credit card or deposit.

DEPOSIT REFUND

The deposit is removed after you deliver the vehicle to Bera Car Rental company officials after your journey. Depending on the status of the banks and the credit card used, the deposit refund may take up to 21 business days. The deposit return period has nothing to do with our company.

OTHER CONDITIONS REGARDING CREDIT CARD USE

If the driver uses a company credit card (commercial card), a confirmation letter on letterhead, a stamp with the company's trade name and a wet signature are required. The person signing must be a company partner or a member of the board of directors. The signature circular of the person who signed is required. Otherwise, the vehicle will not be delivered to the tenant.

EXTRA INSURANCE AND SERVICES

With Bera Car Rental, you can purchase additional services such as additional driver, young driver fee, baby seat, mini damage insurance and tire glass headlight insurance during the reservation and rental process. These;
Baby Seat (EU 2/Day): A seat that keeps children safe by being fixed to the car seat. 
Mini Damage Insurance (EU 4-7 / Daily): Provided by Bera Car Rental (4€ for rentals over 10 days, 7€ for rentals less than 10 days), carbody damage up to 5000 TL in declared unilateral accidents in the economic and middle class vehicle group is detected. report, alcohol report etc. guarantees without.  (Insurance does not cover tire breakage, glass breakage and headlight breakage that may occur in the vehicle)

TRAFFIC AND PARKING FINE

Traffic fines belong to the tenant. If the vehicle is detained by traffic, this period is included in the rental period and all fees related to the retention of the vehicle are collected from the tenant.

PICKUP AND DROP-OFF

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT CAR RENTAL

Vehicles are insured for all kinds of accident conditions. The vehicle's tires and glass parts are not covered by insurance. A report must be kept for the insurance to be valid. Traffic and alcohol reports should be kept immediately after the accident. If the accident is double-sided, the other party's license photocopy, insurance policy photocopy and driver's license photocopy must be taken from the other party at the scene of the accident and the same documents belonging to you must be given to the other party. Immediately after the accident, you should be notified via the number on the rental agreement. In case the report is not kept, is incomplete or invalid, the renter cannot benefit from insurance in any way and cannot claim to benefit from it. 
In the cases stated below, the claim to benefit from insurance will be deemed invalid and the damages incurred will not be covered by insurance. 
If the vehicle is driven under the influence of alcohol, any substance or above the legal speed limits and the person renting the vehicle is completely (100%) at fault, the person renting the vehicle will be held responsible for all material and moral damages that may occur.
Using a person other than the name or names specified in the vehicle rental agreement,
Using the vehicle under normal conditions (Uses that will damage the engine, driving with a flat or damaged tire, filling fuel incorrectly, not complying with legal speed limits, not following the vehicle in front in accordance with the safe following distance, violations such as red lights, etc.)
The load carried in the vehicle causes an accident, 
Failure to notify the contact number given in case of an accident or damage, abandoning the vehicle at the scene of the accident,
Failure to obtain an alcohol report at the time of the accident, (Alcohol report must be taken immediately at the time of the accident, legally 0.15 promil is considered alcoholic for each hour in which an alcohol report is not taken, and users with 0.50 promil are considered to have drunk a vehicle.) 
Failure to submit the accident report to the relevant office even though a maximum of 24 hours have passed since the accident occurred,
Failure to return the vehicle's original key and vehicle license in case the vehicle is stolen, 
Continuing to use the vehicle and not delivering it without any approval even though the rental period has ended, 
Taking action in case of damage to tires, headlights or windows without informing the relevant contact numbers,
If the driver has mental health or alcohol suspicion, If the driver is driving a motor vehicle without a license, If one of the vehicles involved in the accident has an official plate, If there is damage to public property, If only third party property is damaged in the accident, If one of the vehicles involved in the accident does not have traffic insurance, Traffic accident If it results in death or injury, and if you cannot agree with the other driver when the accident occurs, the tenant must inform the law enforcement authorities without delay.
The lessor assumes the legal liability (Compulsory Liability Insurance) arising from accidents that cause damage to third parties, within the scope of the financial liability insurance coverage and the amount of compensation it can receive from the insurance company. All material and moral compensation and legal liability above this amount belongs to the tenant and the lessor has the right of recourse to the tenant. In case of theft, it is sufficient for the police or gendarmerie to file a report and to deliver the original key and vehicle license to our office. It is important that the reports be delivered to our office within 24 hours at the latest.
Damages to tires, glass and headlights are not included in deductible accident insurance. Insurance must also be purchased. 
Responsible for all expenses regarding vehicle license plates and their loss. To make the existing attorney fee, base fee, key base fee, fee arising from the loss of service of the vehicle in traffic without renting a vehicle, towing fee in case of loss of vehicle keys and the fee arising from the period of loss of operation of the vehicle until the original key is obtained from the authorized service, without any objection. accepts and undertakes.
Important warning ! In case of an accident, you will contact the nearest police and obtain an accident and alcohol report before changing the location of the vehicle. Otherwise, all insurance will be deemed invalid and the renter will be responsible for all damage costs and material / moral damages caused to third parties.
Users are deemed to have accepted all the items included in the article and vehicle delivery contract specified on this page. In case of any disputes that may arise, Bera Car Rental's written Turkish contract rules will prevail.
